Current Status: With a 2-1 vote, the NFL defeated the NFLPA/Brady in their appeal to the Second Circuit. Brady added heavy hitter and appeal specialist Theodore Olson to his legal team and filed a petition seeking a panel and/or en banc rehearing but the request was denied. Shortly thereafter, Brady threw in the towel and announced that he will not purse a stay of his four game suspension. The NFLPA is still pursuing the case and has until October 11th to petition seeking the U.S. Supreme Court’s review of the case.
